- Copa America starts today in La Plata: The Copa America 2011 will kick off today in La Plata, Argentina. The tournament will start from July 1 & ends on July 24. Argentina are the favorites for winning this year's Copa America. The event will include big names like Neymar, Falcao, Sanchez, Messi, Pato, Chicharito, Dani Alves and many more. The current year's participants are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Paraguay, Venezuela and Uruguay.
